This Privacy Policy explains how Dawoud Injury Law, PLLC ("Dawoud Injury Law," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit www.winmycase.com or use our secure client portal (together, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.
We collect information you provide directly and information needed to represent you, including: your name, mobile phone number, email address, date of birth, information about your accident or legal matter, and documents and messages you submit through the client portal. We also collect basic technical information (such as device and log data) needed to operate and secure the Services.
We use your information to provide legal services and represent you; to operate, maintain, and secure your client portal; to communicate with you about your matter (including by email and, if you opt in, by text message); and to comply with our legal and ethical obligations.
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send you SMS text messages related to your legal matter — for example, notifications that a document is ready to review, that you have a new message from your legal team, or that your case status has changed. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help; you may also contact us at (561) 944-7246 or mina@winmycase.com.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The mobile information we collect for text messaging — including your mobile number and your consent to receive messages — is used solely to communicate with you about your legal matter. It is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of hiring the firm or of receiving any services.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party marketing. We may share information only as needed to provide the Services and as permitted by law and the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar — for example, with service providers who help us operate the Services (such as our secure hosting, e-signature, and messaging providers), who may process the information only to provide their service to us and not for their own purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety. Mobile opt-in information and SMS consent are never shared with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including authenticated access to the client portal. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information consistent with our professional obligations.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, to maintain your client file in accordance with our legal and ethical obligations, and as otherwise required by law.
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You may request access to or correction of your information by contacting us at the phone number or email above. Opting out of text messages will not affect your representation; we will simply communicate with you another way.
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, and we will update the effective date above.
